Question 3

What if I or my baby needs medical care during our stay?

Accepted Answer

Cassiana is a non-medical hospitality experience and does not replace obstetric, pediatric, or emergency medical care. If a medical concern arises during your stay, appropriate medical or emergency services should be contacted. Emergency medical care is available locally in Napa.

Question 4

Who is a Cassiana stay for?

Accepted Answer

Cassiana is designed for families during pregnancy and through the first 12 weeks after birth who want more support, preparation, rest, and time to settle into this new chapter. Pregnancy Stays offer time away together while preparing for what comes next. Postpartum Stays are designed for the first weeks with a baby, bringing practical support and hospitality closer to the family.

Question 11

How do we get to Napa Valley?

Accepted Answer

Napa Valley is an easy drive from much of the San Francisco Bay Area, typically about 1–2 hours by car. For families flying in, Napa Valley is accessible from San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento airports. For families traveling from Southern California, select JSX routes also offer the option to fly directly into Napa County Airport from Burbank, Santa Monica, and Orange County. Private aviation also offers direct access into Napa County Airport, creating another convenient arrival option for families traveling to Napa Valley.

Question 12

Is postpartum doula support available day and night?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Experienced postpartum doulas are available day and night throughout your stay. Our doula team supports Cassiana families with practical newborn education, feeding and settling guidance, and the everyday needs that arise during the early postpartum period.

Question 13

Is lactation support available?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Lactation support is part of the Postpartum Stay experience, with guidance tailored to your feeding needs and preferences. Medical concerns related to feeding should be addressed with your healthcare provider.

Question 14

Where does my baby stay during our stay?

Accepted Answer

Your baby stays with you in your private hotel room. Our approach is designed to keep your family together while giving you space to rest, learn, and settle in with your baby.

Question 15

When can we come for a Postpartum Stay?

Accepted Answer

Postpartum Stays are designed for the early weeks after your baby arrives. Some families choose to come in the early days after having their baby, while others prefer to spend some time at home first and come a little later. Because birth is unpredictable, we’ll plan around your estimated timing and work with you to coordinate your stay once your baby is here.

Question 16

What do we need to bring for our baby?

Accepted Answer

Cassiana is designed so you don't have to bring your whole nursery with you. Your room will be prepared for life with a newborn, with a safe sleep space, feeding and nursing support items, calming nighttime lighting, a sound machine, baby monitor, everyday essentials such as diapers and wipes, and thoughtful welcome amenities for you and your baby. Before your stay, you'll receive a simple packing guide so you'll know exactly what is provided and what personal items you may want to bring.
